CCSS.Math.Content.7.RP.A.2.d -Determining How Points on a Linear Graph Show Proportional Relationships and Unit Rate

Here are some problems to try with Common Core Standard:


  1. Alejandro records the hours he worked and earnings he made working at the local restaurant in town. Fill in the tables he forgot to and make a graph of his earnings. Then explain the significance of the point (0,0) and the points (1, 11).

2. Mary takes her heart rate and records the following heart rates. She forgets to put a few in, so add those. Then graph her heart beats over time. After graphing explaining the point (0, 0) and the points (1, 64).
