I gave you some time to think about how to change the equations so that the balls wouldn’t go so high. They went too high because the coefficients in front of x2, x and the number by itself were too large. So by multiplying each term by 0.01 I was able to get the height down to 4 yards vs. 400 yards. More reasonable. The new equations are:
y = -0.01x2 + 1.8x – 77 (Brady)
y = -0.01x2 + 1.4x – 45 (Manning)
